Pour the milk into a small saucepan and heat over medium-low heat.
Add turmeric, cinnamon, ginger, and black pepper. Whisk to combine.
Add coconut oil or ghee and continue to whisk gently.
Heat until warm but not boiling, about 3-4 minutes.
Remove from heat and stir in honey or maple syrup if using.
Pour into a mug and enjoy warm. Sprinkle with extra cinnamon on top.
